Adaptable Legal Counsel now serving businesses across Sussex and London
For immediate release · 20 August 2026
SUSSEX, UK, 20 August 2026. Adaptable Legal Counsel, the in-house legal consultancy founded by Amy Kafetz, today confirmed that it is extending its on-site coverage to businesses across Sussex, alongside continued support for clients in London.
The practice provides in-house legal consultancy for UK businesses turning over roughly 50 million to 200 million pounds, covering contract negotiation, privacy policy review, corporate governance and legal ops, delivered on retainer for a fraction of typical law firm cost.
Under the expanded coverage, clients across Sussex will be served locally, with the practice attending client sites directly to support contract negotiations, board meetings and privacy reviews as they happen. Clients in London will continue to be supported remotely day to day, backed by ad hoc, in-person visits for key negotiations and board dates.
"Sussex has a real concentration of the businesses this model is built for: fast-growing, high-contract-volume companies that have outgrown ad hoc legal help but are not yet ready for a full time general counsel," said Amy Kafetz, founder of Adaptable Legal Counsel. "Being on site locally means we get to know these businesses properly, while remote and ad hoc coverage means London clients lose none of that same depth of support."
The move follows continued demand from marketing and events agencies, recruitment businesses and SaaS companies for a legal model that combines senior, in-house-style judgement with the cost structure of a lean consultancy. Adaptable Legal Counsel uses Claude to accelerate contract review and drafting, allowing retainers to start from roughly 1,000 pounds a month and scale with client workload up to around 5,000 pounds a month.
Businesses in Sussex and London can now book a free consultation to discuss on-site or remote legal support through the Adaptable Legal Counsel website.
